Vacall™ Hydro Excavator Delivers Superior Precision, Power and Safety for Oil and Gas Industry Cleanup Work
October 10, 2011
NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio--The Vacall™ AllExcavate hydro excavator delivers a superior collection of vacuum and jetting advantages needed by the oil and gas exploration industry to safely and efficiently clean frac tanks and vessels, expose underground utility lines and infrastructure and remove mud and dirt from drilling rigs and trucks.
Designed and built by Gradall Industries, Inc., the AllExcavate is designed to produce the industry’s most favorable combination of water jetting pressure and vacuum forces -- performance features that also are needed for productive digging around infrastructure and preparing surface areas for tie-in installation. The standard 8-foot, 6-inch telescoping boom is located at the rear of the chassis and reaches in a 310-degree radius for convenience and productivity without moving the machine.
AllExcavate machines draw their exceptional vacuum and jetting power from the chassis engine, without the need for a second engine -- a unique design that slashes fuel consumption, eliminates emissions and reduces costs and downtime for routine maintenance.
A rugged debris collection body is built to last, utilizing an oval shape with cylindrical sides to create extra strength. To maximize efficiency in material disposal, a flush system is available to help clean the interior of the debris tank without requiring operator assistance. A simple, rugged tailgate design allows the operator to open, close and lock the tailgate with a single control. Reverse slope lock wedges actually tighten under the weight of the load. A D-ring gasket and shimmed hinge points create a superior seal.
Powder coat paint is standard on the debris body, creating a heavy-duty, durable finish; or, optional galvanized tanks with a lifetime warranty are available.
Water tanks are fabricated with high quality aluminum for extra strength and also carry a lifetime warranty. The tanks are positioned to reduce the chance of damage from highway debris, rocks and stones. Tank position also creates positive head pressure to the water pump inlet.
The AllExcavate features AllSmartFlow™, an innovative CANbus system with controls located inside a protective cabinet. AllSmartFlow allows operators to efficiently make precise operational adjustments while using a programmable color LCD display that relates detailed information about engine performance, water flow and vacuum functions. A fully proportional pendant, using either wired or wireless capabilities, is designed for productive control away from the chassis.
Utilizing double-cyclone filtration, a multi-stage vacuum filtration system has a simplified design to reduce maintenance, extend performance and increase working life. As material is deposited into the debris body, air continues to move through a dual-cyclone separator where material particles and moisture are removed. The filtered air then passes through the blower, the silencer and the exhaust.
